I guess I have a few changes that I’ll be making to my blog so everyone knows.
The first change is the appearance of my blog – I guess I wanted to add a little bit of me into it, instead of having a little normal template with no customization whatsoever. I’ll be messing around with this blog also to figure out how WordPress works (I love figuring things out on my own), and might do something drastic to my account or something, I have no idea. But I’ll have fun!
The second thing is posting – to all of the people who’ve stuck around a few months, you have to know that I’m a horrible blogger, who used to post about random things or whenever inspiration came. But I’ll be trying to make a schedule, and to make this blog the best it can be. I’ll also try not to get off course from what this blog is supposed to be about – enjoying life to the fullest and trying to go around the big problems, and, of course, the occasional poem
that shouldn’t be there at all. Though, I suspect that most of my posts are about the latter, but I’ll be doing my best. So, from now on, my posts will (hopefully) be every Wednesday and Saturday.
The last thing is being more active on this blog and in this community – I’ll be checking out other blogs, and if you have a blog you want me to check, I’m willing to look at it. I get so bored in my seat a lot, and I love reading other people’s blogs.
Just remember, though, I’m younger than 18, so I can’t read anything inappropriate. Yes, I’m looking at the person right over there. I used to be really busy, but because it’s summer (in the North Hemisphere, that is), I have a lot more free time.
I guess that’s it. I hope you enjoy this blog, and I’ll see you later!
Just. This. Yes. I knew it.
So, I haven’t read all the books or read all the movies of Harry Potter, but I know a bit about it. Today, one of my friends asked me which Hogwarts house I was in, and I was embarrassed to tell her that I had no idea. So I looked around for a good quiz today, and I found one. So I guess I should be proud to call myself a…
This is what I got from the website:
I’m back from my vacation! (which I might describe in another post)
Anywho, I’ve been reading a bunch of Emily Dickinson’s poems. And I am just…shocked. Amazed. Her poems are the best I’ve ever read. They touched me to my heart. One of my favorites of her poems is:
If I can keep one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin,
Onto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
I just really love her poetry. So much that I think we should have an Emily Dickinson Day. In which we read Emily Dickinson poems and have the bestest of times. x3 So, tell me, do any of you read Emily Dickinson’s poems? And if so, what are some of your favorites?
Oh! Also, I made a few banners from lines in her poems.
Honestly, I don’t think about love that much. But since I’m nearing that crush/boyfriend age, I was told it’s good to make a list of ten things I’d like in a crush, like an ideal. Preferences. So, here it is.
1. Someone’s who’s a listener, yet not the shy kind of listening
2. Someone who’s tall, since I’m crazily tall.
3. Someone who thinks I’m crazy. The good crazy.
4. Someone who is calm at horrible situations.
5. Someone who loves music. Not necessarily dancing.
Someone who is willing to do math for me. Someone who can help me with math.
7. Someone who doesn’t mind me messing around in the kitchen.
8. Someone who can get rid of computer viruses, since I am so good at getting them.
9. Someone who won’t mind it if I drop bowls and things like that because I’m distracted by things.
10. Someone who’s…..
Nothing comes up.
Wow. My crush/boyfriend is going to have a hard job. xD
